How do I make my course attendance costs eligible under EIT RawMaterials funded KAVAs (e.g. Upscaling projects)?

Travel and subsistence costs necessary for attending RMTechFlow courses may be eligible for staff members of EIT RawMaterials KIC Partners that have ongoing EIT RawMaterials KAVA projects. To ensure eligibility, a change request would be necessary in your project’s Business Plan 2019 or 2020 (whichever appropriate), where you should add a specific reference to the participation in the course under the travel costs budget category. N.B. make sure to justify the relevance of the participation in the course for your project in the cost explanations section. In this latter sense, an acceptable explanation could be somewhere along the lines of the following example:

Participating at the RMTechFlow courses will improve the chances for the XY project to bring technology Z to market and to deliver expected targets on KPIs since the participants will gain the following tech transfer and innovation management skills: describing technology in problem-solution terms; doing benchmark and market positioning of owned technology and IP; deciding when to licence and when to launch a startup/spinoff; reaching out to potential business clients and gathering feedback; learning expectations from potential licensee large corporates from the RawMaterials industry.

How do I get to Trento? (1st workshop, 11-14 June 2019)

Arrival by airplane
The following airports are the closest to Trento:

Trento is connected with the main airports by the A22 Brennero Motorway and by the railway.

Arrival by car
To reach Trento by car, take A22 Brennero Motorway. You should take exit Trento South or Trento North. From both exits, it is approximately a 10-minute drive to Trento Co-location Center, depending on the traffic.

In the Co-location center premises, you can find parking facilities for guests, upon availability.

Arriving at Trento railway station, you can take

the Bus No. 5 heading towards Povo-Oltrecastello and get off at the bus stop “Facoltà di Scienze”
The bus N° 5/, towards or Povo-IRST. And get off at the bus stop “Povo Sommarive”

The bus departs every 20 minutes from Trento railway station and the trip takes about 15 minutes.
